Ajyal Islamic Society is a CRA approved Charitable Organization.
What is the benefit of being a Charitable Organization?
This means that the donations you make to Ajyal can potentially be of benefit to you on your taxes.
What kind of donations are accepted for tax receipts?
We will be issuing tax receipts for donations made via: Credit Card, Check, Interac and Cash. We do NOT issue tax receipts for in-kind donations.
What information do I need to give for a tax receipt?
In order to comply with CRA requirements and our accounting needs, we need the following information:
- Full Name of the donor
- Mailing Address
- Email Address
- Phone Number

Will you sell my information?
Absolutely NOT. We value your privacy and will only use this information to issue tax receipts and communicate with you about our Masjid. You can review our privacy policy here.
When will I receive my tax receipt?
Tax receipts will be issued in the new year around January/February. If you do NOT get an email from us by the end of February, please contact us at donate@ajyal.ca.

How much money can I save on my taxes?
Tax matters can be complex and any specific questions should be directed to a qualified Certified Public Accountant or Canada Revenue Agency. However, there are two calculators available for rough calculations. Please understand that these are external links and they are only provided for estimations.
