Eid al-Adha 2026/1447 – 27th May (Wednesday)
As we approach the blessed month of Dhul Hijjah, Ajyal Islamic Center is pleased to share important updates regarding the upcoming 10 best days of the year and our community events for Eid al-Adha 2026/1447.
- First Day of Dhul Hijjah: The blessed month begins on Monday, May 18th, 2026. This marks the start of the sacred ten days, a period highly emphasized for multiplying rewards and increasing righteous actions. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)
- The Day of Arafah (Community Iftar): On Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, we observe the Day of Arafah. Given that fasting on this day is a highly encouraged Sunnah, Ajyal Islamic Center will be hosting a Community Iftar. We warmly invite you and your families to join us to open your fast together and celebrate the arrival of Eid.
- Eid al-Adha & Prayers: Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026. We will be hosting 2–3 Eid prayer shifts at the center to accommodate everyone. Our team is currently finalizing the exact prayer times, and we will update this post with those details as soon as they are locked in.
